Tahoe Sierra

The most affordable, oldest neighborhood in Tahoe is Tahoe Sierra (formerly Sierra Tract). Located between Trout Creek Meadows and the Truckee River, access can be gained off Lake Tahoe Blvd. Like most neighborhoods on the South Shore, Tahoe Sierra is close to all that this area has to offer. Local beaches include Pope Beach, Regan Beach and El Dorado Beach. Also within a quick distance is Powerline Trail and Desolation Wilderness giving the local hikers and bikers the ability to be outdoors within minutes! And of course, the Heavenly Ski Resort Gondola and The Village are close by as well as entertainment and nightlife.

Typically, the homes here are less than 1,200 sq. ft. with 3 beds and 2 baths.  The central area of the Tahoe Sierra has homes that usually sit on lots 5,000 sq. ft. in size. Along with several single family homes, this area has multifamily buildings as well as newer contemporary style construction.  A lot of these homes benefit from gorgeous views of the forest, meadows and mountains.
