Country Club Estates

A hillside area consisting of about 600 homes is Country Club Estates. Located off Pioneer Trail, this neighborhood is convenient to all of South Lake Tahoe’s best amenities. Country Club Estates, also known as Elks Club, is one of Tahoe’s top 3 high end residential areas. While there isn’t actually a country club, there are two local golf courses that gave this area its name.  Lake Tahoe Golf Course and Tahoe Paradise Golf Course. The streets also keep up with the golfing theme with names such as Pebble Beach and Cherry Hill. Most homes in this neighborhood have access to breath-taking views of sunsets over Mt. Tallac, while others have golf course and lake views thanks to the location set along a ridge.  Another perk to this area is it’s set very close to national forest land and California Tahoe Conservancy land. You can be on your bike or on a trail within minutes!

The average home here sits on large, private lots that are forested, giving this neighborhood a rare, popular feature. Thanks to this, there has been quite a bit of new construction in the neighborhood, putting the average home price here in a higher bracket. While there is a variety of newer homes and styles, there are still older homes located here as well.
